An established global trading firm is expanding its APAC (Hong Kong) engineering group and hiring a Senior Python Engineer to work on business-critical data systems.
The team builds and maintains core datasets and automation that directly support live trading environments.
Responsibilities
• Develop scalable Python services and data pipelines
• Improve data quality, validation and monitoring frameworks
• Design high-performance backend systems
• Work closely with research and trading stakeholders
Background
• Strong Python engineering capability
• Experience with large-scale data processing
• Good understanding of distributed systems and performance
• Comfortable operating in fast-paced environments
This role requires Industry EXPERIENCE, but can offer RELOCATION and VISA sponsorship.
